A Provident Fund is a government-mandated savings scheme where both employers and employees contribute a portion of the salary, providing financial security and retirement benefits to employees, with access to funds upon retirement or resignation.
To process the Provident Fund (PF) for an existing member of PF - UAN, the admin must perform the following actions:
- Add the employee to the greytHR database.
- Add PF details of the employee.
- Complete the PF KYC mapping of the employee.
- Generate the PF - monthly statement report.
- Generate the PF - ECR format report.
- After the generation of a file, the PF admin user must log in to the PF Unified Portal and upload the PF - ECR format file in the portal.
