Voluntary Provident Fund (VPF) is a scheme available to employees who are already contributing to the statutory Employee Provident Fund (EPF). VPF allows employees to make additional voluntary contribution towards their EPF account beyond the mandatory contributions

To release employees’ VPF declaration, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll Admin FBP Planner. The FBP Planner page opens.
  2. From the FBP Status dropdown filter, select All Employees option.
Note: You can also search for an individual employee using the Employee dropdown filter.
  3. Select the required employees using the checkboxes.
  4. Click the Create & Release Plan button at the bottom of the page. The Create Plan pop-up appears and displays a list of FBP items.
  5. From the FBP Item list, select the VPFDECLARATION checkbox.
  6. Click Confirm to release the employee’s VPF declaration. The Processing Payroll pop-up appears followed by a success message.

Note: Once you release the VPF plan, the selected employee can edit the VPF information in their Employee portal.
