Form 16 file contains sensitive financial details, such as an employee's income, tax deductions, and personal information.

To password protect the employees’ Form 16 file, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings Employee Employee Options. The Employee Options page opens.
  2. In the Password Policy for File attachments, under the column, double-click the files you want to protect and move them to the next column.
  3. In the Password Protected Attachments, select Form 16.
  4. Click Save to enable the password protection feature.
