How can admin delete the Form 16 Part A or Part B of an employee?

Form 16 is the TDS certificate that an employer issues to an employee. When an employer deducts TDS from employees' salaries, the Income-tax Act requires a certificate to be issued by the employer, where the details of the tax deducted and deposited are certified. 

To delete a Form 16 Part A or Part B, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Payroll Admin Form 16. The Form 16 page opens.
  2. In Form 16 generation card, under Part A, click Uploaded. The Part A-View page opens.
    Note: The admin can also perform a similar step for Part B.
  3. Select the Selected Employees/All Employees option as per your requirements.
  4. Using the checkbox available next to the Employee Name, select the employees for whom you want to delete Form 16 Part A.
  5. Click the Delete button to delete the Form 16 Part A.
