Form 16 is the TDS certificate that an employer issues to an employee. When an employer deducts TDS from employees' salaries, the Income-tax Act requires a certificate to be issued by the employer, where the details of the tax deducted and deposited are certified.
To delete a Form 16 Part A or Part B, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin login, hover on the 9 dots and go to Payroll > Admin > Form 16. The Form 16 page opens.
- In Form 16 generation card, under Part A, click Uploaded. The Part A-View page opens.
Note: The admin can also perform a similar step for Part B. - Select the Selected Employees/All Employees option as per your requirements.
- Using the checkbox available next to the Employee Name, select the employees for whom you want to delete Form 16 Part A.
- Click the Delete button to delete the Form 16 Part A.
