How can admin ignore the leave rules while posting a leave transaction (availed, granted) for an employee in greytHR?

Leave rules are a set of regulations and procedures established by an organization to govern employees' leave entitlements, usage, approval processes, and related matters.


To ignore the leave rules posting a leave transaction (availed, granted), the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Leave Information Employee Leave. The Employee Leave page opens.

     

  2. From the Search Employee search box, search for the employee for whom you want to post the leave transaction.

  3. Click Post Leave Transaction. The form appears.

  4. From the Leave Type dropdown list, select the required leave type.

  5. From the Transaction Type dropdown list, select Availed.

  6. From the From Date and To Date dropdown calendar, select the required date range.

  7. Select the Ignore Leave Apply Rules option, if applicable.

  8. Click Save to post the availed leave transaction for the selected employee.
