How can admin generate Leave Balance As On A Day report?

Leave balance refers to the accumulated amount of time off that an employee is entitled to take from work. It represents the remaining leave days an employee has available after taking into account their previous leave usage.


To generate the Leave Balance As On A Day report, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Reports Reports Reports Gallery.  The Reports Gallery page opens.
  2. Under the All Reports tab, in the search box, enter Leave Balance As On A Day. Select the report from the search results. 
  3. From the Date dropdown calendar, select the date for which you want the report.
  4. From the Employee Type dropdown list, select the relevant category.
  5. From the Sort Order dropdown list, select the required option.
  6. Click Options to customize the report.
  7. Click Generate to create the Leave Balance As On A Day based on your settings. 
  8. Click Mail me to receive the report in your mailbox.

Note: To view the leave balance as at the end of the leave year, enable Ignore Leave Year-end Transactions and generate the report.
