Leave is a granted absence from work or other responsibilities, allowing individuals to take time off for reasons like vacation, emergencies, medical needs, or maternity/paternity leave.

To reject the team member’s leave application, the manager must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR ESS portal, navigate to the Review widget > Leave. The Review page opens.
  2. On the Review page, the Active tab displays all the active leave applications available for your review.
Alternatively, you can also navigate to the Review page by clicking To Do > Review > Leave.
  3. Under the Active tab, select the employee whose leave application you want to reject.
  4. Click Reject. Reject Request pop-up appears.
  5. In the Remarks description box, enter the reason for rejecting the application. This step is not mandatory.
  6. Click Confirm to reject the selected employee's leave application.
