The Government of India maintains the Provident Fund (PF) account on behalf of all the employees in India. For the maintenance of the employees' PF accounts, the government charges a certain amount as a fee from the employers. The amount charged as a fee is called PF Admin Charges or the Provident Fund Admin Charges.

PF Admin Charges are calculated as a percentage of an employees' total PF Basic. The percentage charged is called PF Admin Percentage.

The current EPF Admin charges are 0.50 %, subject to a minimum of Rs.75 per month for every non-functional establishment having no contributory member and Rs 500/month/establishment for others.
