Provident Fund (PF) is a government-mandated savings scheme that helps employees save a portion of their salary during their working years to secure their financial future.

An employee name will be displayed in the PF report only if the PF eligible option is enabled in the Employee Information page. To know how to enable the PF-eligible option, follow the below path.

To enable/disable the PF/ESI eligibility of an employee, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Employee > Information > Bank/ PF/ ESI. The Bank/ PF/ ESI page opens.
  2. From the Search by Emp No/ Name search box, search for the employee whose PF/ESI eligibility you want to enable/disable.
  3. Under the ESI Account, click the Edit icon. The section expands.
  4. Select/clear the Employee is covered under ESI using the checkbox.
  5. Click Save to save the ESI changes.
  6. Under the PF Account section, click the Edit icon. The section expands.
  7. Select/clear the Employee is covered under PF using the checkbox.
  8. Click Save to enable/disable the PF/ESI eligibility.
