What is the exemption age for Professional Tax?

Professional tax is a tax that some state governments in India impose on individuals who earn their income from professions. It is mandatory for individuals to pay professional tax if they fall within the taxable income bracket.
Individuals who are above the age of 60 years are exempted from paying the professional tax.
