What are the revised Professional Tax (PT) slabs applicable in Assam from April 2025?

The Government of Assam has officially revised the PT slabs effective from 1st April 2025. These updated slabs apply to all employees whose PT location is set to Assam.

Monthly salary/wages (INR)	PT payable(INR/month)
Upto ₹ 15,000	Nil
From ₹ 15001 - 24,999 above	₹180
₹ 25000 and above	₹208
