A Performance Period is a specific timeframe set for assessing employees' performance. It facilitates accurate progress tracking and ensures fair assessments of employee performance.
To create a Performance Period, the admin must perform the following actions:
From the greytHR admin login, navigate to Performance Management > Performance Period. The Performance Period page opens.
Click Create. The Create Performance Period pop-up opens.
In the Cycle Name text box, add a name for the performance period.
From the Duration dropdown calendar, add the required performance period.
In the Description text box, enter a short note describing the performance period.
Click Save. A success message appears and the period moves to the Drafts tab.
After creating the Performance Period, the admin must activate the created Performance Period.
To activate the Performance Period, perform the following actions:
From the greytHR admin login, navigate to Performance Management > Performance Period. The Performance Period page opens.
Click the Drafts tab. The list of created performance periods appears.
Select the created performance period card and click the ⋁ icon to expand the card.
Click Activate. The Activate Performance Period pop-up appears.
Click Confirm. The period moves to the Active tab.
Note:
If the performance period is in the Draft stage, you can edit or delete the period by clicking the Settings and Delete icons available on the performance period card. Once the performance period gets activated, you cannot make changes.
