Why is the Salary tab unavailable in the Employees Self-Service portal?

The Salary tab in the greytHR ESS portal provides an overview of an employee's earnings and deductions. It includes monthly payslips, salary structure details, tax information, and loan deductions. 

To make the Salary tab visible in the Employees Self Service, the admin must enable the access rights for CTC PayslipePayroll Tab, and Payslip PDF Download in the employee role from the User Roles page.


To enable the access rights, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, click the Settings icon > User Administration > User > User Roles. The User Roles page opens.

  2. Select the required user role card and click the Edit icon. A page opens.

  3. From the Category dropdown list, select ePayroll. The table displays all the related features.

  4. Select the features CTC PayslipePayroll Tab, and Payslip PDF and enable Read Access and Write Access checkboxes.

  5. Click Save to update the changes. A success message appears.
