Can a manager withdraw overtime applied on behalf of a team member?

Yes. The manager can withdraw overtime applied on behalf of a team member. 


Overtime is the additional hours worked by an employee beyond their regular working hours. Heavy workloads, tight deadlines, or unexpected circumstances require additional work hours to complete tasks or projects.


To withdraw overtime applied on behalf of a team member, the admin must perform the following actions:


  1. From the greytHR ESS portal, navigate to Attendance Attendance Info My Overtime. The Overtime Workflow page opens.

  2. Under Apply Overtime, select Apply On Behalf.

  3. Click the Pending tab. The list of overtime applications appears

  4. Select the application card that you want to withdraw. The application expands

  5. Click the Withdraw button. The Withdraw Overtime pop-up appears.

  6. Click Confirm to withdraw the selected overtime application.

Note: You can view all the withdrawn applications under the History tab.
