What user roles must the admin configure/enable for Employee Off-boarding module?

Off-boarding process manages an employee's involuntary departure from a company. It involves tasks such as ending contracts, exit interviews, returning company items, revoking system access, and providing information about final pay, benefits, and legal responsibilities. 


To configure the user roles required for the Employee Off-boarding module, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > User Administration > User > User Roles. The User Roles page opens with a list of roles.

  2. Select the Admin user card and click the Edit icon available on the card. A form appears.

  3. From the Category dropdown list, select Employee Exit. A list of features such as Edit Approved LWD, Exit Clearance Dashboard, Initiate Exit Action, and Revoke Exit Application appears.

  4. Select the Read Access and Write Access checkboxes for all the actions.

  5. Click Save to update the changes. 

As an admin, you must also ensure to configure the Employee Exit Reason feature for the effective functioning of the Employee Off-boarding module. 


To enable the feature, you must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > User Administration > User Roles. The User Roles page opens with a list of roles.

  2. Select the Admin user card and click the Edit icon available on the card. A form appears.

  3. From the Category dropdown list, select Select Category

  4. In the Search search box, search for Employee Exit. A table appears with the Read Access and Write Access columns.

  5. Select the Employee Exit Reason feature Read Access and Write Access checkboxes.

  6. Click Save to update the changes.
