The scenario of employees/managers getting access to approve their own permission request occurs when the admin enables the feature Employee Permission Workflow Admin. This option should be enabled only by super users.
To deselect the option of allowing employees to approve self permission request, the admin must perform the following actions:
From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > USER ADMINISTRATION > User > User Roles. The User Roles page opens.
Click the Edit icon on the required card. The card opens and displays the Role ID, Description, and Category.
From the Search search box, enter Employee Permission Workflow Admin.
Deselect both Read Access and Write Access of the selected option.
Click Save to save the changes.
