The Permissions module helps an employee to apply for permission to step out in advance.

As an admin, to allow the manager to approve the employees’ permission requests, you must enable the access rights for Pending Items in the manager role.

To enable the option, you must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > User Administration > User > User Roles. The User Roles page opens with a list of roles.

  2. Select the Manager user card and click the Edit icon available on the card. A form appears.

  3. From the Category dropdown list select Tasks.

  4. From the Search search box enter Pending Items.

  5. Select the Read Access and Write Access checkboxes.

  6. Click Save to enable the option.
