A payroll statement, also known as a pay stub or paycheck stub, is a document provided by an employer to an employee along with their paycheck.
To generate a Payroll Statement, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll > Verify > Payroll Statement. The Payroll Statement page opens.
- Click Add Statement. The Payroll Statement form appears.
- Under Step 1: General, In the Name text box, enter the name of the payroll statement you want to generate.
- In the Report Title text box, enter a name for the report.
- In the Description text box, enter a description for the statement you are generating.
- Click Next.
- Under Step 2: Columns, from the components column, select the component.
- Click the Right arrow to add the information in the relevant table. You can also click +Add Gross Columns / +Add Deductions to add all the gross/deductions components to the table automatically.
- Click Next.
- Under Step 3: Order, arrange all the components you have selected in Step 2 in the required order.
- Under Step 4: Sort Order, from the Sort Order dropdown list, select the order to choose how information is displayed in the report.
- From the Employee Filter dropdown list, select the relevant category of employees for whom you want to generate the report.
- From the Report Type dropdown list, select the type of report you want to generate the report.
- From the Employee Criteria dropdown list, select the relevant option.
- Select the relevant check boxes as per your requirement.
- Click Finish to generate the customized payroll statement.
