How can managers track their team member’s leave balance information using ESS portal?

Leave balance refers to the amount of paid time off or vacation time an employee has accumulated and is entitled to take from work. It is usually expressed in terms of hours, days, or weeks, depending on the company's policy.


To track your team member’s leave balance, the manager must perform the following steps:

  1. From the greytHR ESS portal, navigate to Leave Leave Balances. The Leave Balances page opens. 
  2. Click the Me drop-down list and enter the employee number or name for whom you want to track the leave balance. 
  3. Select the employee from search results. You can now view the leave balances of the selected team member for all the leave types.
