A leave report is a document that summarizes the leave activities of employees within a specific timeframe. It provides a comprehensive overview of the leave taken by individuals, including the type of leave (such as annual leave, sick leave, or unpaid leave) and the duration of each absence.

To generate leave reports of employees from the ESS portal, the manager must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR ESS portal, navigate to Reports Gallery. The Reports Gallery page appears.
  2. Under the Leave section, select the required report. For example, Leave Availed Report. The Leave Availed Report pop-up appears.
  3. From the From and To dropdown calendars, select the date for which you want to generate the report.
  4. From the Leave Type dropdown list, select the required leave type.
  5. From the Employee Type dropdown list, select the required employees.
  6. From the Sort Order dropdown list, select the Employee Number or Name to sort the order of your report.
  7. Click the Options button. The Leave Availed Report pop-up appears.
  8. From the Report Output Type dropdown list, select the required format option to download the report.
  9. Click Save and then Close.
  10.  Click Run to generate leave reports of employees from the ESS portal.
