Yes, the manager can override their team member's attendance if the admin has enabled the override option.

The process of overriding shift details involves manually changing or modifying the assigned shift details for an employee within a time and attendance system or software.

It enables them to make temporary or ad-hoc adjustments to an employee's scheduled shift.

To override a team member's attendance, the manager must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR ESS portal, on the  Home page, click Attendance Attendance Muster. The Attendance Muster page opens.
  2. In the search box, enter the employee name or employee ID for whom you want to override the attendance.
  3. Go to the required date and select the cell with a single click.
  4. Press the relevant keyboard shortcut to override the attendance as per your requirements. You can view the Legends to know more about keyboard shortcuts.
  5. A confirmation message appears displaying that your changes are recorded. Alerts, if any, will be updated after the attendance is processed.

Note: Admin must process the attendance to reflect the overridden status in the employee’s attendance.
