What are the professional tax slab rates in Jharkhand?

Professional tax (PT) is a tax imposed by state governments in India on individuals who earn a salary or income through a profession, trade, calling, or employment. It is governed by the respective state's Professional Tax Act or Rules.

The Professional Tax slab in the state of Jharkhand is as follows:

Monthly Salary	PT per month
Up to Rs.25,000	Nil
Rs.25,001 to Rs. 41,666	Rs. 100
Rs.41,667 to Rs. 66,666	Rs. 150
Rs.66,667 to Rs. 83,333	Rs. 175
Rs. 12000 and above	Rs 208
