How can admin update an employee's separation information in greytHR?

The greytHR’s Separation page helps the admin add their employees' separation details when they discontinue their employment from the organization. 


To update an employee's separation information on greytHR, perform the following actions:

  1. In the greytHR Admin portal, on the Header bar, in the Search Actions search box, search for Employee Separation. The Separation page opens.
  2. From the Search box, search for the employee whose resignation details you want to update.
  3. Under the Resignation Details section, from the Resignation Submitted On dropdown calendar, select the date on which the employee has applied for resignation.
  4. From the Reason For Leaving dropdown list, select the employee's reason for leaving the organization.
  5. In the Notice Period text box, select the number of days the employee should serve as a notice period.
  6. From the Tentative Leaving Date dropdown calendar, select the proposed leaving date for the employee.
  7. In the Remarks description box, enter the remarks, if any.
  8. Click Save to start the separation process.

After the employee has left the organization, you must update the exit details of the employee. To update the exit details in greytHR, perform the following actions:

  1. In the Admin portal, on the Header bar, in the Search Actions search box, search for Employee Separation. The Separation page opens.
  2. From the Search box, search for the employee whose resignation details you want to update.
  3. Under the Exit Details section, from the Interview Date dropdown calendar, select the date on which the employee's exit interview was conducted.
  4. In the Notes description box, enter the notes from the interview.
  5. From the Leaving Date dropdown calendar, select the date on which the employee left the organization.
  6. From the Settled On dropdown calendar, select the date on which the employee is settled.
  7. Enable the Exclude from final settlement check box to exclude the employees from the Full and Final Settlement process. 
  8. Select Notice Served and Fit to be rehired check box as applicable.
  9. Click Save to save the exit details of the separated employee.
