A password is a confidential combination of characters (such as letters, numbers, and symbols) used to authenticate or verify the identity of a user before granting them access to a system, device, or online account.
To reset the user password, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Settings icon > User Administration > User > Regenerate User Password. The Regenerate User Password page opens.
- From the User dropdown list, select the required user.
- Click the Generate and View button to re-generate and view the password. The admin can also click Generate & Mail button to email the password to the user.
