Probation is a period of trial. Its purpose is to find out the suitability of an employee to hold the post substantively or permanently, based on which the suitability is judged at the time of confirmation.
The admin can set up the probation period in the following ways:
- Set the probation period for all the employees.
- Set the probation period for an individual employee.
- Set probation period according to employee categories such as grade, location, and designation.
