How can admin register for HSBC PayNow feature?

greytHR PayNow, integrated with HSBC Corporate Internet Banking (CIB), offers a convenient solution for our customers who rely on CIB for salary disbursal. Corporate banking plays a vital role in providing financial guidance to commercial clients and institutions, offering a range of financial services and products designed to support their operational needs and facilitate smooth business operations.


To register for the HSBC PayNow feature, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll > Payout > Bank Transfer. The Bank Transfer page appears. 
  2. Click Register Now. The Register Now a pop-up appears.

  3. From the Select Bank dropdown list, select HSBC Holdings plc.

  4. Click Confirm. The registration form appears.

  5. Under the HSBC Registration section, in the Profile ID textbox, enter the profile ID sent by the HSBC team via email.

  6. In the Client ID textbox, enter the client ID shared by the HSBC team via email.

  7. In the Client Secret textbox, enter the client secret shared by the HSBC team via email.

  8. In the Customer ID textbox, enter the customer ID.

  9. In the Account Holder Name textbox, enter the account holder's name.

  10. In the Account Number textbox, enter the valid account number.
    Note: Confirm the account number again in the Confirm Account Number textbox.

  11. In the HSBC Public Key, click Upload File. The dialog box opens.

  12. Browse to the folder, select the required file and click Open.

  13. In the Mobile Number textbox, enter the required mobile number.

  14. Select the I agree with the Terms and Conditions checkbox to proceed with verification.

  15. Click Verify to register for the feature.
