What are the pre-requisites to upload data in bulk?

Excel import refers to the ability to import data from an Excel sheet into payroll software. The feature allows employers to transfer large amounts of data, such as employee information or payroll data, quickly and easily, without having to manually enter the data into the software. 

 

The pre-requisites to upload data in bulk as per greytHR guidelines are as follows:

  1. Formula must not be entered.
  2. The employee ID must be converted to text format.
  3. Remove the unused/empty columns from the downloaded sample file as the system will not consider the empty cells. 
  4. Date must be in custom format DD-MMM-YYYY.
