Why is the resignation submission date of employees not getting included in the notice period calculation?

For the resignation submission date of employees to be included in the notice period calculation, the admin must enable the option Include Resignation Submission Date For Calculating The Tentative Leaving Date from the Advanced Options page.


To enable this option, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings Miscellaneous Advanced Options. The Advanced Options page opens.

  2. In the Search search box, enter Include Resignation Submission Date For Calculating The Tentative Leaving Date. The option appears on the table.

  3. Select the checkbox available next to the Include Resignation Submission Date For Calculating The Tentative Leaving Date option.

  4. Click Save to enable the selected option.
