The error message Shift is not assigned to employee for so and so date displays if the option Enable Roster Importer based on Attendance Period  is selected. The admin must unselect this option from the Advanced Options page to resolve this error.

To unselect this option, the admin must perform the following actions:

  2. From the Section dropdown list, select Attendance.

  3. In the Search search box, type Enable Roster Importer based on Attendance Period. The option appears in the table

  4. Select the checkbox under the value column next to the option.

  5. Click Save to update the changes.
