Why does the shift name column show as shift code when uploading a shift roster through excel importer?

Created by Product Content Team, Modified on Fri, 11 Jul at 11:24 AM by Product Content Team

Shift Roster provides an overview of the existing shift plan, detailing when each employee is scheduled to work and what shifts they are assigned to.

When uploading a shift roster through Excel with the Shift Roster Importer Parameter Type set to Shift Name in the Advanced Options page, it displays the shift name instead of the shift code.

To change the option from shift name to shift code, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Settings icon > System Settings > Miscellaneous Advanced Options. The Advanced Options page opens.

  2. In the Search text box, search for Shift Roster Importer ParameterType. The option appears.

  3. Under the Value column, change the shift name available next to Shift Roster Importer Parameter Type as Shift Code.

  4. Click Save to update the changes.
