Yes. The admin can restrict employees from applying for permission if leave is already approved for that day. The Regularization & Permission module enables employees to request advance permission for time off, helping them avoid attendance regularization.

When an employee's attendance status is marked as Leave, then the option Restrict permission applications for the entire day if enabled, restricts permission. However, this restriction is valid only on the date when the leave is approved, not before or after.

To restrict employees from applying for permission if leave is already approved for that day, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin navigate to Workflow > Setup > Workflow Levels. The Workflow Levels page opens and displays a list of workflow policies.

  2. Click the policy card you want to edit. The card expands.

  3. Click View Details. The Workflow Levels page open.

  4. From the Workflow Levels page click Next to move to the Workflow Levels page.

  5. Click Next to move to the Workflow Policy page.

  6. In Apply Settings from Restriction criteria under Restrict permission applications for the entire day enable the option, If both the session statuses match the configured status or If any one of the session statuses match the configured status as per the requirement.

  7. From AttendanceStatus/No Swipe, select the status as Leave.

  8. Click Save Policy to update the changes.
