Why is an employee receiving the error message “Minimum total work hours rule is not satisfied” when submitting a permission request?

The Regularization & Permission feature allows employees to request for advance approval for any official work.


The error message Minimum total work hours rule is not satisfied is displayed when an employee requests permission for a date on which the total work hours are under the specified policy limit. This happens when the permission policy is configured as Allow employees to apply for permission only if the total work hours is selected hours. If the total work hours selected under this policy is more than what the employee worked for on that particular day then the employee views this error message.
