The Absent Criteria Week Off penalty rule is an attendance penalty rule in greytHR. Attendance penalty rules are policies or guidelines implemented by organizations to address attendance-related issues among employees.

To customize the Absent Criteria Week Off penalty rule, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings > Attendance > Attendance Scheme. The Attendance Scheme page opens.

  2. Select the required attendance policy card and click the Edit Policy Info icon. A page with penalty rules opens.

  3. From the dropdown list, select Penalty Rules

  4. Select the All Rules tab. A list of rules appears.

  5. Select the Absent Criteria Week Off checkbox.

  6. Click the Edit icon available on the rule. The rule expands.

  7. Customize the rule as per your requirements.
Note: The system checks if employees are absent on the second session of the previous working day and the first session of the next working day. If they are absent in either of these sessions (based on settings), their weekly day off will be counted as an absence.
