Why is admin unable to view the overridden shifts on the Shift Roster page?

Created by Product Content Team, Modified on Mon, 19 Feb at 2:35 PM by Product Content Team

When the admin enables the Disable Automatic updation of Shift Roster option available under the Shift Roster Detection rule of the Attendance Policy page, then the shifts will not be updated automatically. The admin is required to update the shifts manually from the Shift Roster page. Even if the shift is manually updated, it will not reflect on the Shift Roster page. To avoid this issue, the admin must ensure to disable the Disable Automatic updation of Shift Roster option.

To disable this option, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1.  From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings > Attendance Attendance Policy. The Attendance Policy page opens.

  2. Select the required Attendance policy card and click the Edit Policy Info icon available on the card. A page opens.

  3. From the dropdown list, select Attendance Status Criteria

  4. Select the All Rules tab. A list of rules appears.

  5. Select the Shift Roster Detection rule checkbox and click the Edit icon. The rule expands.

  6. Enable/Disable the Disable Automatic updation of Shift Roster checkbox as per your requirements.

  7. Click Save to update your customization.

  8. Click Finish to complete the process. A success message appears.
