Adding lock configuration refers to the process of setting up and configuring locks or restrictions specifically related to attendance-related activities within an application.
To lock configuration for a category, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Leave > Admin > Lock Configuration. The Lock Configuration page opens.
- Click Add Lock Configuration. The form opens.
- From the Category Type dropdown list, select the relevant category.
- From the From Date and To Date dropdown calendar, select the required dates.
- From the Effective Date dropdown calendar, select the required date.
- Click Save to lock the configuration.
Note: The lock is effective from one day post the selected Effective Date. For example, If you update the Effective Date as 1st January, the lock will be effective from 2nd January.
