The Application Timeline shows the progress and current status of a helpdesk ticket. As an employee, you can view the various workflow status such as, Pending, Resolved, Closed, Re-opened, and Forwarded. If the ticket is open, you can also communicate with the reviewer through the comments section under the timeline.
To view the application timeline of a helpdesk ticket, the employee must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR ESS login, click Helpdesk. The Helpdesk page opens.
- Under the Active tab, click the required ticket. The card expands.
- Click View Details. The Helpdesk - View Details page opens.
- Under the Application Timeline, enter the comments that you want to send along with your ticket.
- Click Post to add your comments.
- Click Withdraw to withdraw the ticket.
- Click Cancel to go back to the Active tab.
