How can employee view their helpdesk application timeline?

The Application Timeline shows the progress and current status of a helpdesk ticket. As an employee, you can view the various workflow status such as, Pending, Resolved, Closed, Re-opened, and Forwarded. If the ticket is open, you can also communicate with the reviewer through the comments section under the timeline.


To view the application timeline of a helpdesk ticket, the employee must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR ESS login, click Helpdesk. The Helpdesk page opens.
  2. Under the Active tab, click the required ticket. The card expands.
  3. Click View Details. The Helpdesk - View Details page opens. 
  4. Under the Application Timeline, enter the comments that you want to send along with your ticket.
  5. Click Post to add your comments.
  6. Click Withdraw to withdraw the ticket. 
  7. Click Cancel to go back to the Active tab.
