How can admin upload Holiday list for different locations?

Created by Product Content Team, Modified on Thu, 19 Jun at 9:39 AM by Product Content Team

Uploading a holiday list for different locations refers to the process of digitally transferring or adding a schedule of holidays for various geographical locations to a designated system, database, or holiday management platform.

To upload a Holiday List for different locations, the admin must perform the following actions:

            1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Employee > Admin > Excel Import. The Excel Import Log page opens.
            2. From the Importer Type dropdown list, select Holiday List Importer.
            3. From the Excel Import Log page, click Import From Excel. The Excel Import page opens.
            4. Under Step 1: Excel Importer, click Download a sample file.
            5. Save the file on your computer. In the saved Excel file on your computer, fill in the details you want to upload. Save and close the Excel importer file.
              Note:
              1. If a holiday is applicable only for the selected location, it is important that you add a separate row for each separate location under the column Location in the Excel file. Do not add all the locations in one single cell.
              2. If a holiday is applicable for all the locations, under the column Location update it as All in one single row.
            6. In the greytHR application, on the Excel Importer page, under Step 1: Excel Importer, click Upload File to upload the Excel importer.
            7. Click Next.
            8. Under Step 2: Excel Importer Mapping, map the fields from Excel to the application terms, if required. To map a field, select the corresponding field under the Mapped To column.
Note: This step is mandatory if you have changed the format of the Excel file.
            9. Click Next. You are redirected to Step 3: Excel Importer Validate.
            10. Under Step 3: Excel Importer Validate,  click Next to upload the regime-based IT declaration details through Excel importer.
            11. Click Ok to complete the process.
