How can admin override employees' salary components in bulk?

Salary refers to the fixed monetary compensation or payment that an employee receives from an employer in exchange for their work, services, or employment.


To override a salary component in bulk, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Employee > Admin > Excel Import. The Excel Import page opens.
  2. Click Import From ExcelStep 1: Excel Importer form appears.
  3. From the Import Type dropdown list, select Bulk Salary Overrides.
  4. Under Step 1Excel Importer, click Download a sample file
  5. Save the file on your computer. In the saved Excel file on your computer, fill in the details you want to upload and delete the blank columns. Save and close the Excel importer file.
  6. Under Step 1Excel Importer, click Upload File to upload the Excel importer.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Under Step 2Excel Importer Mapping, map the fields from Excel to the application terms, if required. To map a field, select the corresponding field under the Mapped To column.
    Note: This step is mandatory if you have changed the format of the Excel file.
  9. Click Next. You are redirected to Step 3Excel Importer Validate.
  10. Click Next to override component salary in bulk.
  11. Click OK to complete the process.
