How can admin clear IT declaration during employee’s final settlement?

The admin can clear the income tax declaration of separated employees by releasing the separated employee's IT declaration during the final settlement.


To release the separated employee's IT declaration, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR admin portal, navigate to Payroll Payroll Inputs > Final Settlement. The Final Settlement page opens.
  2. Click Settle Employee. The Settlement page appears.
  3. Select Separated Employee/Search Employee as per your requirements.
  4. From the dropdown list or Search Employee search box, enter and select the separated employee.
  5. Click Next. The Step 2: Resignation Details section appears.
  6. Enter the required details.
  7. Click Next. The Step 3: Notice Pay section appears.
  8. Perform the similar steps till Step 5: Leave Encashment.
  9. Under Step 6: Remarks,  enter the remarks if any.
    Note: Under Step 6: Remarks, a notification displays your current settings. To edit the settings, perform the following actions:
  10. Click Click here. A pop-up appears.
  11. Select the Clear IT Declaration for resigned employees option.
  12. Click Save to update the settings.
  13. Click Finish to clear the IT declaration of the resigned employees.
