Yes. As an admin, you can enable/disable letters that can be requested by the employees.

When you create a new letter template, you have a provision to set up whether the particular letter can be requested by the employee.

A letter template is a pre-designed format with personalized placeholders for recipient details, used to ensure consistency and save time when drafting various types of letters

To enable/disable a letter that can be requested by the employees, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Employee Setup Letter Template. The Letter Template page opens.
  2. Click +New Letter Template if you want to select/restrict the letters for a new letter template. The General Information page appears.
Note: Click the Edit Template icon available on the existing Letter Templates if you want to select/restrict the letters for an existing template.
  3. Click Next. The Upload Template page appears.
  4. Click Next. The WORKFLOW SETUP page appears.
  5. From the Can Employee request for letter? options, select Yes.
Note: This option enables the Letter Request feature for your employees. If you select the No option, the Letter Request feature will not be enabled for your employees.
  6. Click Finish to enable/disable the letters that can be requested by the employees. A success message appears.
