How can admin change employees’ attendance of absent days even after completing shift?

If the employee's attendance is calculated based on the actual hours completed as per the shift policy, their attendance will display as absent on the Attendance Info page, even if they have completed the shift. In case the employee's actual hour is less than the work hour defined for the specific shift, then the attendance shows absent.


The employer needs to be aware of the attendance policy to configure the attendance scheme in the organization and manage attendance on greytHR. You can also share your company’s attendance policy with your employees through greytHR Mass Communication.
