Can admin generate Form 16 with previous employment details?

Yes, the admin can generate Form 16 with previous employment details by enabling the Show with Previous Employment option. Form 16 is the TDS certificate that an employer issues to an employee.  


To enable the Show with Previous Employment option, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, hover on the 9 dots and go to Payroll > Admin > Form 16Alternatively, You can also navigate to the Form 16 page from, System Settings > Income Tax Form 16. 
  2. Under CURRENT SETTINGS, Click Settings. The form appears and the Particulars of the person responsible for form 16 details auto-populate.
  3. Under the Part B Configuration section, select the check box available next to Show with Previous Employment.
  4. Click Save to enable the option.
