Employee's EPF (Employees' Provident Fund) excess contribution refers to a situation where an employee has made contributions to their EPF account that exceed the mandatory requirements set by the EPF scheme.

To disable an employee’s EPF excess contribution, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Employee > Information > Bank/PF/ESI. The Bank/PF/ESI page opens.
  2. From the Search Employee search box, search for the employee whose excess EPS contribution you want to disable.
  3. Next to PF Account, you can view an Edit icon. Click the Edit icon to update the PF details.
  4. Deselect the check box Allow EPS excess contribution.
  5. Click Save to disable the selected employee’s EPS excess contribution details.
