Password protection is a security measure designed to ensure that only authorized individuals can access and utilize certain resources.

To configure password protection for documents uploaded by employees in database, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Settings icon > System settings Employee Employee Options. The Employee Options page opens.
  2. In the Password policy for File Attachments field, select the option(s) from the column and click the ➡ arrow to move it to the next column.
  3. From the Password Protected Attachments field, select the files that require password protection.
Note: To select more than one type of attachment, click ctrl + attachments simultaneously.
  4. Click Save to configure the passwords for attachments.
Note:  You can use only the options available in the Password policy for File Attachments
    column to password-protect the attachments.
