Password protection is a security measure to protect sensitive information, maintain privacy, and prevent unauthorized actions that could compromise the integrity or security of the protected resource.

To configure passwords for attachments, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System settings Employee Employee Options.
  2. On the Employee Options page, in the Password policy for File Attachments field, select the option(s) from the column and click the ➡  arrow to move it to the next column.
  3. From the Password Protected Attachments field, select the files which must be password protected.
Note: To select more than one type of attachment, click ctrl + attachments simultaneously.
  4. Click Save to configure the passwords for attachments.
Note:  You can use only the options available in the Password policy for File Attachments
    column to password-protect the attachments.
