Unassigning or removing an employee from a manager means taking the employee out of the direct reporting relationship with that particular manager. It involves changing the organizational structure or reporting lines so that the employee is no longer under the supervision or guidance of that specific manager.
To unassign/remove an employee from a manager, the admin must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Employee > Main > Organization Chart. The Organization Chart page opens.
- In the Search search box, search for the employee for whom you want to view the details. The respective employee card appears in the chart.
- Click the Kebab ⋮ icon on the respective employee card. A dropdown menu appears.
- Click the Unassign option. The Unassign pop-up appears.
- Click Confirm to remove the employee. A success message appears.
