If an employee's request for annual leave cannot be approved by their manager, what steps can the admin take to address the situation?

The admin must verify the reporting manager’s details assigned to the employee. You can verify the reporting manager’s details on the Organization Chart page.

To change/edit the manager’s details of an employee, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Employee > Main > Organization Chart. The Organization Chart page opens.
  2. Click the Assign Manager button. The Assign Manager pop-up appears.
  3. In the Select Reportee option, using the Search by Emp No / Name search box, search for the employee for whom you want to assign the manager.
  4. In the Select Manager option, using the Search by Emp No / Name search box, search for the employee who you want to assign as the manager.
  5. Click Save to assign the manager for the selected employee.

Note: Alternatively, you can just drag and drop an employee card under another employee to assign a manager for the employee.
