For IT companies operating under the Kerala IT Act, the revised Professional Tax (PT) and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) contributions are automatically implemented in payroll processing from the specified effective date which is 1st November 2024. Companies outside the purview of the Kerala IT Act do not experience any changes or impact on their payroll.
