Geofencing is a location-based technology that creates a virtual boundary or perimeter around a real-world geographic area.
For the employees to mark their attendance through the geo-fencing option, the admin must configure the user roles for the employees.
To configure the user roles required for the employees to mark their attendance, the admin must perform the following actions:
From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > User Administration > User > User Roles. The User Roles page opens with a list of roles.
Select the api_employee user card and click the Edit icon available on the card. A form appears.
From the Category dropdown list, select Attendance. A list of features appears on the table.
Select the option Attendance Info Emp and enable the Read Access and Write Access next to this option.
Click Save to update the changes.
