Why does admin receive an email reminder to process Leave Year End in odd months?

Leave Year End (LYE) marks the assessment and reset of employee leave balances, crucial for accurate leave management and preparation for the new year.


The admin receives an email reminder to process Leave Year End in odd months if the process leave year end month is configured wrongly. As an admin, you can configure the correct year end process month on the Advanced Options page. 


To configure the Leave Year End process month, perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings Miscellaneous Advanced Options. The Advanced Options page opens.

  2. In the Section text box, select Leave from the dropdown list.

  3. In the Search search box, enter Auto Year End Process month. The table displays the options.

  4. Under the Value column, double-click the Auto Year End Process Month row to select the required month. 

  5. Click Save to update the changes. A success message appears.
